Kobold caves are often the target of adventurers, bandits, or raiders hoping to find easy access to a dragon's treasure. Even the poorest kobolds are guaranteed to have at least a few dragon scales on hand, and dragon scales will always fetch a fair price.
Your den is no exception.The treasure your clan has amassed in the hopes of attracting a patron of their own is considerable by kobold standards, and so today won't be the first time you've had to rise to the defense of your family. Though with no dragon patron to protect you, the defense of your warren falls squarely on the kobolds who inhabit it.
