Defiance 

On a warm, sunny morning in Lisbon, our main character Bruno is making their way to their favourite café. The café sits on the corner of the street, with a small terrace in front. When it comes into view, Bruno’s step quickens, driven by excitement about Galão and the special toasty they make there—eggs, cheese, dried onion, and tomato. But as Bruno gets closer, something feels different. On the terrace, there are no locals sipping their espresso… instead, the place is filled with MacBooks, lattes, and Northern Europeans. Inside, a German woman is speaking loudly in English, asking for the Wi-Fi password. What is going on?
