Exploring the Spooky Mansion

Just your luck, you've lost your way, and night is falling fast. You're cold, hungry, and starting to tire. Your cellphone is nearly out of juice, and you can't get any reception out here anyway. Just when you think you'll have to curl up in a bush to spend the night, you spot a light through the trees. You make your way through the woods as fast as you can and find a large mansion, looming out of the darkness. Some of the windows are lit, but for the most part, the house stands silent and foreboding. You shiver and rub your arms. Well, being inside is surely better than leaving yourself at the mercy of the unfamiliar outdoors. You approach the front door and, to your surprise, it's open.
