Author's Note: This Choose Your Own Adventure story is an expansion of the film depicted in the upcoming JIP: The Laser Experiment. This may be considered the “director’s cut” of that film. All four endings are possible (five counting the variant of the first). As such, characters here are introduced, but may or may not be accurate to the main story’s objective reality.
